Job Title:

Program Director

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Project Management Office (PMO) provides strategic governance oversight for the organization's IT program of work.
  • Leading the PMO team and a small team of consultants to establish a fully functional and well-performing PMO in the organization.
  • Delivering support by providing reporting across the IT delivery portfolio, offering visibility and transparency of work progress.
  • Ensuring quality assurance and scrutiny of overall portfolio to support successful delivery of portfolio objectives and outcomes.
  • Collaborating with external partners to ensure streamlined processes and practices including audit, risk, and MOU management.
  • Establishing an Agile and PMO Centre of Excellence, ensuring consistency in ways of working and providing training, mentoring, and guidance.
  • Working with the executive to analyze, forecast, and plan the workforce supply and demand, running various procurement processes.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience running large ICT projects, programs, or Project Management Offices.
  • Ability to think outside the box to achieve pragmatic approaches when solving problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including articulating new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Managing relationships, facilitating, and negotiating with stakeholders.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Agile project principles and methodologies.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A proven and consistent Program Manager with at least 5 years' experience in Program Manager roles.
  • Recent Agile Program/Project experience.
