We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary expert to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity based in Sydney CBD with corporate hours from Monday to Friday. You will work collaboratively within a skilled kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality meals, ensuring full compliance with OH&S regulations and following best practices in food safety and hygiene.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee catering controls and stock management, with a strong focus on minimizing waste.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture by offering outstanding customer service, sharing ideas, and being adaptable to meet business needs.
  • Support both daily service and catering functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Bring experience in high-end or fine dining environments to enhance the quality of service delivery.

Your Ideal Background

Qualified culinary professional with Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent. 4 years in high end/fine dining with catering is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Be a team player, but also be able to work autonomously. Attention to detail and great time management is a must. Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations. Flexible and adaptive nature, able to fit in with changing teams.
