**Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Apprentice Master.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for training and development, and wish to work in a dynamic business environment that prioritizes people first.

The successful candidate will form an integral part of our Apprenticeship Program and will be responsible for supporting and mentoring apprentices on site. The primary goal is to ensure that apprentices gain the necessary skills and knowledge to work independently.

We offer a regular roster with opportunities to work across multiple sites, currently standing at over 20 locations.

**About the Role**

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing and managing training and assessment tools that comply with legislative and industry requirements
  • Guiding and mentoring apprentices to enable them to successfully complete their apprenticeship
  • Implementing apprenticeship training plans including logbooks and assessments
  • Ensuring that apprentices are rotated across sites and disciplines to increase exposure to relevant skill sets
  • Identifying and addressing apprentices who are experiencing difficulty with progressing in their practical or formal learning activities

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • Trade qualifications and experience in the mining and/or construction industry
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or progression towards achievement)
  • Experience working with a mid to large tier employer in the resources/construction sector
  • Understanding of RTO and competency frameworks
  • Knowledge of Apprenticeship legislation and policies
