**About the Role**

We are seeking a seasoned maritime professional to fill the position of Master. The successful candidate will be in command of the ship, ensuring the safety and security of the crew, cargo, and environment.

The Master will play a critical role in implementing our company's policies and procedures, prioritizing safety and environmental protection above commercial considerations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Allocating tasks and duties to crew members for safe and efficient ship operation;
  • Making decisions regarding the safety of the ship, crew, passengers, and pollution prevention;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company instructions;

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Master COC/COR Unlimited certification from the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA);
  • At least 5 years of sea time as a Chief Officer;
  • STCW regulation II/2 compliance;
  • MSIC Card;
  • ECDIS and GMDSS certifications;
  • Certificate of Safety Training;
  • Australian citizenship or a valid working visa without restrictions;
  • Residency in an Australian state;
