Senior Director of Outpatient Services

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to spearhead our out-of-hospital care platform, supporting a diverse range of healthcare services across Hospital Care at Home, Rehabilitation at Home, Virtual Care, Reconditioning, and Chronic Disease programs.
About the RoleThis senior leadership position involves overseeing end-to-end operational performance across the out-of-hospital portfolio, driving clinical governance, service excellence, and workforce optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a national team of clinical and non-clinical professionals, fostering innovation, and implementing change to deliver safe, efficient, and scalable care models.
Responsibilities- Lead and inspire a national team of clinical and non-clinical professionals to achieve exceptional health outcomes through high-performing teams, innovative service models, and a deep commitment to real wellbeing.
- Owning end-to-end operational performance across the out-of-hospital portfolio, ensuring seamless delivery of healthcare services.
- Driving clinical governance, service excellence, and workforce optimisation to improve access to safe, timely, patient-centred care.
- Fostering innovation and implementing change to deliver safe, efficient, and scalable care models.
- 10+ years' experience in senior management within health or community services.
- Deep expertise in patient referral, triage/intake, care coordination, and virtual care operations.
- AHPRA Registration (Nursing or Allied Health).
- Proven track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial, digital, and project delivery acumen.
- Confidence in navigating complexity, transformation, and change.
- Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home.
- 12-month full-time fixed term contract.
