Your New Role

The role provides both face-to-face and virtual outpatient services to help patients to better manage psychological and emotional difficulties that exacerbate the physical symptoms of their health condition.

About You

You will understand Metro South Health's values and have a genuine desire to join our team You will contribute to our growth with your passion and expertise in psychology with the ability to:

• Provide high quality, efficient, patient centred and evidence based psychological assessment and management
• Work both autonomously and within a team environment
• Exercise excellent communication skills, strong patient focus and high level of attention to detail
• Be highly accountable and display a supportive and engaging style
• Demonstrate leadership skills and provide education to students

Logan Hospital

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion .
