Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a strategic thinker to partner with operations and drive financial performance in our manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with our teams to drive operational excellence, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and support strategic financial initiatives. This role will help clarify key performance indicators and guide the site's value creation roadmap.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and information to determine and record costs by product, department, cost centre, profit centre, etc.
  • Calculate annual Direct Manufacturing Costs accurately.
  • Ensure accuracy for labour, material, and variable overhead costs for computing costs of new and existing products and revising existing product prices effectively.
  • Publish weekly production reports and variance analyses.
  • Analyse cost information and prepare monthly factory reporting packs with variations from expected costs.
  • Attend regular meetings as required, including Plant S&OP and Leadership Team Meetings.
  • Support the plant in reducing blocked stock and inventory levels.
  • Provide timely and accurate advice and financial analysis, including reviews of trends and variances from budget and prior year actual data.
  • Perform quarterly SOX testing as necessary.
  • Prepare an annual Budget for the plant in accordance with established objectives.
  • Participate in review and implementation processes.
  • Develop and present executive-level business unit review slides to the wider team.
Requirements:
  • Accounting degree or equivalent professional certification is required.
  • Experience in costing within a manufacturing setting is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of cost accounting methods and procedures is necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in SAP software system (Financial) is mandatory.
