We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to assist a 34-year-old male client in their daily life. This is a unique opportunity for a Support Worker to make a positive impact on someone's life.
About the Role- Assist the client with following their morning and evening routines by providing gentle prompts and encouragement.
- Provide support for cooking meals, personal care, and household tasks.
- Accompany the client on walks to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals to support the client in achieving their goals.
- Follow established routines and protocols for supporting clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and empathy to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
- Previous experience working in a support role or similar capacity is highly desirable.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Australian Driver's License.
- Comprehensive Insurance on your vehicle.
