Our team is seeking an experienced Flight Instructor to conduct training duties using ATO's flight simulators.

About This Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team. As a Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting training duties in accordance with the FSI job description.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality training to students, ensuring they meet the required standards.

You will work closely with our team to ensure that all training materials and courseware are up-to-date and meet the latest industry requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1000 hours pilot-in-command on a multi-crew jet transport and hold/ have held an ICAO-recognized ATPL/CPL/MPL with a minimum ICAO English level 5.

In addition, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training duties in accordance with the FSI job description.
  • Report to the Head of Training (HOT).
  • Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend revisions where appropriate.
  • Assist with courseware and training materials preparation, including theoretical examinations to comply with CASA requirements.
  • Liaise with the Simulator Technical department to ensure simulators are maintained to required training standards.
  • Monitor client/student progress and develop action plans for those not meeting standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1000 hours pilot-in-command on a multi-crew jet transport.
  • Valid Simulator Instructor Rating or equivalent.
  • Hold/Have held an ICAO-recognized ATPL/CPL/MPL with minimum ICAO English level 5.
  • Previous experience in Airline/ATO training and as a TRI/TRE/SFI/FI/DFE.
