We're seeking passionate Grade 1 and 2 Fixed Wing Flight Instructors to join our professional team, with immediate part-time and casual positions available.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's most respected flying training organisations. As a Flight Instructor at RACWA, you'll play a key role in developing the next generation of pilots, while working in a fun, supportive and safety-focused club environment.

Key Responsibilities

·
    Delivering high-quality flight training to student pilots

· Conducting clear and effective briefs and debriefs

· Promoting critical thinking and threat & error management

· Monitoring, assessing and recording student progress

· Maintaining adherence to all safety policies and training standards

· Creating a positive and encouraging learning environment

· Ensuring the safety of all flight operations

· Being a part of a club environment and a 96 year old cherished institution

 A genuine passion for aviation and student development

· Excellent communication and mentoring skills

· Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety protocols and training best practices

· Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and safety

· Ability to work within a team

· Enjoy working with a wide range of students, from integrated full-time students to private part-time students.

Essential Qualifications

·
 Grade 1 or 2 Instructor Rating Training Endorsement

· Class 1 Medical

· Unrestricted Working with Children Check

· Dangerous Goods Certificate

Previous flight instructing experience

· Night VFR Rating

· Night VFR Rating Training Endorsement
