
Senior Asset Coordinator

The role of a maintenance planner is pivotal in ensuring seamless operation of maintenance activities. They are accountable for planning, coordinating, and implementing maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transferring assets into computerized maintenance management systems as required.
- Monitoring and acting on group asset email inboxes.
- Coordinating weekly work order servicing schedules to reduce fleet and equipment downtime.
- Managing work orders and associated documentation regarding assets within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Loading and maintaining new assets in CMMS and managing scheduled oil sampling within the CAT system.
- Continuously monitoring schedules and plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and obligations.
- Candidates should be based in Perth.
- Hold a current and valid driver's license.
- Have mechanical trade experience with mobile plant operations.
- Have a minimum of 2+ years' experience in a planning role.
- Have a solid understanding of equipment and maintenance safety systems, processes, and procedures within transport and mobile plant mining environments.
- Experience working with computerized CMMS systems, preferably Pronto.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, preferably Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
- Trade qualification in mobile maintenance road transport or heavy plant.
- Good communication skills to deal with multiple remote sites.
- Understanding of road transport and mining regulations.
