Asset Management Engineer

The Asset Management team is currently seeking an experienced Asset Engineer to join their Perth-based team for a 10-month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to the Superintendent Asset Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing asset readiness that could potentially impact plant or business operations.

  • Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage critical spare parts and master data to support operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical engineering support to site maintenance execution teams as required.
  • Develop and review equipment specifications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead and champion asset strategy initiatives.
  • Contribute to strategic planning processes as necessary.
  • Develop and manage Work Order Lists (WOL) of assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on change management initiatives for asset improvement.
  • Ensure registered plant assets comply with relevant regulations.
  • Perform equipment inspections as scheduled or as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience working with Auxiliary/HME assets.
  • Strong background in work management.
  • Desirable: experience with master data and maintenance strategies.
  • Solid understanding of asset condition monitoring and data analysis.
  • Good comprehension of maintenance strategy development.
