The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a warm, caring, and nurturing educator to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you must be able to read upside down, back to front, and handle interruptions with questions such as "Why are caterpillars always so hungry?" You will need to perform loud songs and dance whilst being laughed at by children under 6, prepare and serve imaginary snacks, ensure the pretend pot of tea is not too hot, distribute cozy hugs, count tiny heads in quick succession, and breathe fire like a dragon, flap your wings like a fairy, and roar like a tiger. Additionally, you must be willing to get messy with substances including paint, slime, or mud.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must hold an ACECQA-approved Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, have a Current Working with Children's Check, Current Child Protection Training, and Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates or be willing to obtain one.
