As a Risk Measurement Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making across Macquarie's aggregate risk profile and financial strength.

Our team is responsible for independent review and challenge, oversight, monitoring, and reporting in relation to material risks. We aim to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with and drive the evolution of frameworks that cover enterprise-wide stress testing and scenario analysis, capital adequacy, aggregate risk measurement, and risk appetite setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks and models
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure best practice in risk management
  • Provide assurance that frameworks and models remain effective through regular reviews and updates

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Keen interest in developing approaches and principles for measuring risk and stress testing
