Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Systems Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design and development of electrical systems for renewable energy facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement electrical system designs for wind, solar, and battery storage facilities.
- Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and clients to provide technical advice and project management expertise.
- Act as a technical leader, developing specifications and providing guidance on project timelines, budgets, and risk management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the renewable energy sector.
- Electrical Engineering degree with relevant experience and knowledge of Australian standards and projects RPEV or ability to obtain.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Proven knowledge of major power generation technologies and equipment OEMs and plant suppliers.
- Experience with HOMER and PVsyst is advantageous but not essential.
