Job Title

We are seeking an experienced financial leader to spearhead the development and execution of funding, liquidity, and balance sheet strategies for a leading organisation.

About You:

  • A seasoned Treasury professional with a proven track record in senior roles within banking or financial services.
  • A deep understanding of regulatory standards, reporting requirements, and expectations.
  • Experience in engaging with external funding markets, regulators, and executive leadership.
  • A strategic thinker who brings rigour, resilience, and stakeholder influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and execution of funding and liquidity strategies, including securitisation programs and alternative structures.
  2. Manage balance sheet risk, including interest rate and maturity mismatches, within risk appetite.
  3. Oversee the investment portfolio, asset allocation, and surplus funds.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, operational processes, and reporting requirements.
  5. Identify and manage financial risks across market, liquidity, and funding, collaborating with Risk and Compliance teams.
  6. Enhance treasury systems, processes, and policies in line with business scale and regulatory expectations.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • APRA registration as a Responsible Person.
  • Relevant experience in a senior Treasury role.
