We are seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to join our team in a part-time fixed-term position. The successful candidate will work within the Intensive Care Unit and report directly to ICU Nurse Unit Manager.

This role is responsible for coordinating and facilitating research studies within the ICU, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to all patients involved in clinical trials.

  • The Clinical Research Nurse will be supported by the Head of ICU Research and the ICU Research Manager.
  • As a senior member of the ICU research team, the Clinical Research Nurse will coordinate and facilitate research studies within the ICU.
About the Role

The Clinical Research Nurse will ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to all patients involved in clinical trials and, where relevant, their families, in partnership with all members of the multidisciplinary and research teams.

The Clinical Research Nurse will be self-motivated and able to work independently, working closely with staff involved in research studies as well as key stakeholders.

The ICU research department provides 24/7 cover. The Clinical Research Nurse would be required to be available to be part of the departments on-call roster.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an Intensive Care Unit or other relevant clinical experience.
  • A minimum of two years research experience.
