Our organization seeks a detail-oriented Junior Planner to join our Merchandise Planning team. This key role involves working closely with the Merchandise Planner to optimize sales, stock, and profitability in the Women's Apparel department.
About the Position:This exciting opportunity involves meticulous planning, forecasting, and analysis to ensure the success of our seasonal collections.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop seasonal class plans for sales, OTB, markdowns, GP, stocks, and weeks cover.
- Analyze post-seasonal data to recommend sales forecasts and initiatives.
- Maintain item flows and optimize inventory levels for key items.
- Work closely with Designers on size, color, and product analysis.
- Review store gridding and allocate stock based on sales data and customer demographics.
- Prepare and present weekly trading meetings with comprehensive reporting and analysis.
- Liaise with retail stakeholders on store needs and stock opportunities.
- Support in managing updates to range plans and monthly forecast reviews.
- Assist in managing orders, quantification adjustments, and size ratio analysis.
- 2-3 years of experience in allocation or merchandise planning within a retail environment.
- A bachelor's degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
