Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Pace Appointments QLD partners with a global freight and logistics provider of supply chain solutions, offering air/sea forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, transport, and distribution services.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Transport Coordinator, responsible for the day-to-day preparation, coordination, and follow-up of cartage through customs clearance.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate transportation requirements following customs clearance for Air, LCL, FCL, and Rail shipments.
  • Create documentation, reports, and quotations to customers, including liaison with internal and external providers to provide job costings.
  • Maintain AQIS/ACS compliance ensuring all formalities are carried out.
  • Arrange payment for shipping lines and forwarders' charges to obtain delivery orders, and process ACS/AQIS clearance matters.
  • Liaise regularly with transport companies, carriers, customers, and internal departments to maintain customers' status/delivery reports.
  • Verify completion of delivery requirements, POD collection, container dehire, and monitor detention.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience within an international freight forwarding/customs environment in a similar role.
  • Cargowise experience is essential.
  • A self-motivated team player with high attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to multitask.
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills, with a customer-centric approach.
