About the Role

At Propeller Aero, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way we approach construction and infrastructure development. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the technical foundations of our platform, ensuring seamless integration and scalability for our customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems using Python and AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and other backend components to support our platform.
  • Work closely with our Core team to build and instrument developer tooling, improving the overall developer experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience in backend engineering, with a focus on Python and AWS.
  • Experience building and instrumenting developer tooling to enhance the developer experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
  • Bonus points for experience with Django and other cloud providers.
