Job Title: Operations Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to the Branch Manager, assisting with the planning and scheduling of employee and vehicle daily programming for local, interstate, and international removals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Branch Manager in planning and scheduling operations
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated success in operations and teamwork
  • Experience in removals, road transport, storage, or logistics
  • A forklift license or willingness to acquire one
  • A willingness to learn and grow your career
  • Sound operational understanding and ability to juggle labour requirements, inventory, equipment, warehousing, purchasing, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
