Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Direct Patient Care: Provide direct, professional nursing care to patients in an inpatient or outpatient setting, according to area of specialty.
  2. Assist Physicians: Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
  3. Evaluate Patients: Perform evaluation of new and existing patients to determine priority and suitability of treatment and/or need for modifications.
  4. Administer Medications: Administer prescribed medications, apply sterile dressings, perform phlebotomy, and monitor vital signs.
  5. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  6. Medical Devices: Work with medical devices and apparatus safely and effectively related to each area of specialty, manage alarms, and detect any early harm.
  7. Specialized Procedures: Perform specialized nursing procedures related to the unique needs of a particular patient population.
  8. Team Leadership: Oversees and guides the work of other nursing and support staff.
  9. Miscellaneous Duties: Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  10. Patient Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and provide direct nursing care to patients.
  11. Quality Care: Ensure that patients receive quality, compassionate, and ethical care.
  12. Patient Education: Provide patient and family education, counseling, and support.
  13. Standards of Care: Ensure adherence to standards of care, policies, and procedures.
  14. Nursing Duties: Perform nursing duties in accordance with facility policies and procedures, and the rules and regulations of the State Board of Nursing and hospital policies.
  15. Patient Safety: Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff; assess and treat patient conditions in collaboration with physicians and other members of the health care team.
  16. Procedures: Perform procedures, such as injections and catheterizations.
  17. Vascular Access: Assist with the management of vascular access devices.
  18. Test Results: Evaluate patient compliance to treatment plans and evaluate and report test results.
  19. Health Promotion: Perform health promotion activities to prevent illness and maintain health.
  20. Nursing Support: Perform nursing support duties, such as assisting with treatments and procedures, in addition to other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor degree in Nursing.
  2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience including in-depth experience in required specialty.
  3. Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  4. Communication: Good communication skills and well-exhibited patient care attitude.
  5. Teamwork: Teamwork and collaboration.
  6. Nationality: Required Nationalities: Australia.
  7. Specialty: Specialty required: (All): Dialysis, PICU, ICU, NICU, Medical surgical ward, OR, Cath lab, Endoscopy, ER, L&D.
