Temporary Trust Accountant Opportunity

A temporary role has become available for a skilled Trust Accountant to join our busy real estate office in the Inner West of Sydney.

About the Position
  • Manage all aspects of the trust accounting function, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and providing seamless financial support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily trust account transactions and reconciliations accurately.
  • Process receipts, payments, and transfers efficiently.
  • Prepare end-of-month statements and reports on time.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with trust account regulations effectively.
  • Liaise with internal staff and external stakeholders regarding account queries professionally.
About You
  • Previous experience as a Trust Accountant within a real estate agency is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of trust accounting legislation and procedures is required.
  • Proficiency with industry software (REST, Property Tree, or similar) is necessary.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills are expected.
  • Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
