Job Description

Job Title: Department Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at H&M. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Advisors and driving sales and profit growth in your department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and follow up sales and profit KPIs for your department and take action to maximise sales.
  • Drive the Hello Member program in line with country goals.
  • Ensure your department continuously meets H&M standards and follow up using the Customer Experience Tool.
  • Implement the Commercial Handbook with your Visual Team.
  • Evaluate and manage the performance of your team, giving regular feedback and executing performance development reviews.
  • Develop a talent pipeline in your department to support the business and store needs.

Requirements:

  • A positive, inclusive, and creative leader who enjoys being on the shop floor with colleagues and customers.
  • A desire to learn and grow and share this passion with your team of Sales Advisors.
  • A commercial mindset and coaching approach, motivated by seeing actions turn into results.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • The ability to delegate, follow up, and provide straightforward feedback to coach and develop your team.
  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role with proven results in driving commercial KPIs and team development.
