Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to co-manage our clean energy initiatives and drive sustainable development in Peruvian coastal communities.

  • Design and implement innovative renewable energy solutions, leveraging creativity and technical skills to enhance existing systems.
  • Spearhead research efforts to develop mechanical and electrical solutions for solar distillers, improved cookstoves, and other renewable energy devices.
  • Collaborate with our Director of Renewable Energy to manage project finances, develop resource management plans, and optimize budget allocation.
  • Contribute to hands-on installation work and maintenance of projects, ensuring their long-term success and sustainability.
  • Develop and execute crowdfunding campaigns to secure essential funding for new energy projects, showcasing marketing and outreach expertise.
  • Participate in educational seminars led by experienced directors, expanding knowledge in international development, NGO/social enterprise management, marketing, research techniques, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, environmental science)
  • 2+ years of experience in renewable energy or a related field
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of renewable energy technologies
