Advanced Clinical Leadership Role

This leadership position is responsible for providing clinical expertise in Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, ensuring compliance with AS5369 Standard.

About the Position
  • Provide advanced clinical leadership and expertise in Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices.
  • Maintain compliance with AS5369 Standard across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, including all Central Sterilising Departments (CSDs).
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and quality audits to ensure compliance with AS5369 Standard.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Sterilisation and relevant postgraduate qualification in Infection Prevention and Control.
  • Current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Gastroenterological Nurses College of Australasia (GENCA) endoscopy reprocessing training.
