Stryker is seeking an experienced professional to join our Joint Replacement team as a Product Specialist - Mako Robotics. This role focuses on robotic-assisted surgery using Stryker's Mako system.

This is a unique opportunity to become a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology. You will serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and expertise during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Deliver ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across various locations to support multiple hospital sites.
What We're Looking For
  • A strong clinical background with a passion for surgical innovation.
  • Experience in orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience.
  • Confident in surgical/theatre settings, technically savvy with software and medical technology, passionate about improving patient lives, excellent communication skills, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
Qualifications & Requirements

You must have full working rights in Australia or New Zealand. Prior experience with robotic-assisted surgery or the Mako system is preferred.
