Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Grower Liaison Coordinator to join our team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This key role is responsible for fostering strong relationships with herb and spice growers across Australia, ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality, traceable, and sustainably sourced raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with growers locally and interstate
  • Onboard new growers and assist manage supplier agreements (pricing, volumes, specifications)
  • Collaborate on crop planning and harvest schedules aligned with supply chain forecasts
  • Monitor crop progress and coordinate timely delivery of raw materials
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and ethical sourcing programs (e.g., HARPS, Freshcare, Sedex)
  • Support growers in adopting sustainable and regenerative farming practices
  • Maintain accurate records and provide seasonal performance reports
  • Assist with field trials and innovation projects
Requirements:
  • 3 years' experience in agriculture, agribusiness, or supply chain (preferably herbs, spices, or horticulture)
  • Strong knowledge of crop production, post-harvest handling, and food safety systems
  • Attention to detail and reporting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly to grower sites (local and interstate)
  • Experience with smallholder farms or contract farming models
  • Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing frameworks
  • Experience with herb and spice production
