Senior IT Support Specialist

This role is focused on providing advanced technical support for clients across multiple sites, requiring a high level of expertise in ICT troubleshooting and problem-solving.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults on assigned devices, including AV equipment, and collaborating with vendors to ensure timely resolution. Additionally, you will provide leadership and advice on technical aspects of information technology to clients and contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for customer infrastructures and organisational operational guidelines.

Other key responsibilities include participating in team meetings and team building exercises, utilising service management software to monitor tickets and maintain accurate records, managing hardware life cycles, and disposing of IT equipment according to policy.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree in IT or related field
  • Experience in providing high-level support with Windows and Mac, including knowledge of Microsoft Windows infrastructure and macOS infrastructure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail
