About Your Opportunity As an Advanced Control Systems Technical Officer, you will provide technical services support related to Telemetry and Control Systems for water assets, including all Seqwater Control System sites within the region.
You will maintain SCADA and Process Control Systems and offer technical support to Control Systems Technical Officers, Engineers, Coordinators, and Managers.
Key Responsibilities: Participate in Seqwater values and safety objectives.
Focus on delivering reactive and preventative maintenance.
Participate in an on-call roster to respond to emergency requests outside of normal hours as per arrangements.
Independently conduct investigations and compile reports.
Develop test documentation to verify plant operation.
Manage system software, maintenance, backups, and storage to prevent data loss.
Refer decisions that may impact operations to relevant authorities.
Receive task assignments from Senior and Principal Control Systems Engineers.
Participate in the commissioning of new assets as required.
Participate in out-of-hours and on-call duties as needed.
About You To succeed in this role, you will possess: Essentials: Advanced Diploma or equivalent in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Practical experience in an industrial environment.
Current unrestricted 'C' class driver's license.
Alignment with Seqwater values.
Desirable: White Construction Card.
Trade qualifications in Electrical and/or Instrumentation.
Knowledge and experience with Seqwater control and automation systems.
Understanding of control system components and concepts.
Experience with Siemens and Schneider PLC and SCADA products.
This position offers a salary range of $108,332.25 - $119,130.76 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.
Appointment is contingent upon a successful national police check and may include other medical or character requirements.
