- Data Management and Optimization: Manage and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Extensive Experience: Extensive experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong understanding of data warehousing principles, including data structures, database design, modeling, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
- Cloud-Based Experience: Experience working with cloud-based, modern data platforms and Open Source Big Data tools.
- Technical Skills: Exposure to our current tech stack is desirable (Databricks, AWS, DBT) with extensive experience with Python, PySpark, Terraform, and SQL.
- Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
