About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their homes and in the community.
  • Help individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations through the development of daily living skills, social skills, and budgeting.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, meal planning, cooking, and light cleaning as required.
  • Facilitate community connections through socializing and outings.
  • Support individuals to maintain relationships with family, friends, and services.
Requirements
  • Passion, patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • Dedication to empowering individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including manual handling tasks.
  • Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is highly regarded.
