Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the development and operational management of Allied Health and Social support services in Tasmania. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing programs that enable frail older individuals to achieve their wellbeing goals and maintain independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and effective management of program operations to ensure high-quality, viable, and compliant services.
  • Lead programs that promote independence, autonomy, and wellbeing for older individuals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets and maintain effective budget management.
  • Collaborate with the Director AgeWell Centres to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, and community partners.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in an allied health or related discipline, or equivalent experience in operational management in a health or aged care organization.
  • Proven ability to deliver programs that restore, improve, or maintain the health, wellbeing, and independence of frail older individuals.
  • Experience in managing programs that meet Key Performance Indicators and financial targets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
