Service Technician
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical equipment across aged care and acute care environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair Arjo's medical equipment and related third-party equipment
- Conduct routine scheduled servicing (preventative) and breakdown support (reactive)
- Promote company services and service contracts to customers in regional NSW
- Take a lead in pursuing regional business and collaborate with other technicians in regional NSW to secure new business
- Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and within agreed time frames
- Provide accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired in our service ERP system
- Maintain and report spare parts stock accurately in the service ERP system
- Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy
- Travel within regional NSW as required to meet customer needs
- Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude
- 2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within Healthcare or related sector
- Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong time management and planning skills with ability to meet KPIs
- Customer-focused, well-presented, confident, and sensitive when interacting with staff and clients in healthcare environments
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Experience with small hand tools, soldering, power tools, and test/inspection equipment
- Computer literacy; iPad familiarity advantageous
- Ability to work with limited supervision and within a team
- Current NSW driver's licence (Class C) essential
- Vaccination against COVID-19 and current influenza vaccination encouraged due to hospital and aged care facility work
