Job Title: Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team, responsible for growing and retaining our customer base across multiple market sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify customer needs and business challenges, matching them with our innovative products and services.
  • Manage an existing portfolio, identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling, and present valued solutions based on customer and market insights.
  • Provide excellent service-based account management and representation to merchants, civil contractors, irrigation specialists, consultants, installers, and industry bodies.
  • Maintain and improve the customer base in your assigned territory/market segment through planned individual account support.
  • Develop product share of wallet opportunities with your assigned customer base.
  • Utilise sales skills to secure sales through effective negotiation and value positioning.
  • Use Salesforce (CRM) and other data insights to understand customer buying profiles and pricing trends.
  • Stay updated with market conditions, industry trends, and competitive products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute account plans and ensure client success.
  • Demonstrate safe work processes and comply with Iplex safety policies and procedures.
About You:
  • Experience in internal or external sales.
  • Background in the water or plastics industry is advantageous.
  • Strong computer literacy skills with Salesforce experience.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and team members.
  • Strong negotiation skills to balance business and customer needs.
  • Ability to influence individuals to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to review processes and find efficiencies and improvements.
