Job Title: Account ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team, responsible for growing and retaining our customer base across multiple market sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify customer needs and business challenges, matching them with our innovative products and services.
- Manage an existing portfolio, identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling, and present valued solutions based on customer and market insights.
- Provide excellent service-based account management and representation to merchants, civil contractors, irrigation specialists, consultants, installers, and industry bodies.
- Maintain and improve the customer base in your assigned territory/market segment through planned individual account support.
- Develop product share of wallet opportunities with your assigned customer base.
- Utilise sales skills to secure sales through effective negotiation and value positioning.
- Use Salesforce (CRM) and other data insights to understand customer buying profiles and pricing trends.
- Stay updated with market conditions, industry trends, and competitive products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute account plans and ensure client success.
- Demonstrate safe work processes and comply with Iplex safety policies and procedures.
- Experience in internal or external sales.
- Background in the water or plastics industry is advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy skills with Salesforce experience.
- Effective interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and team members.
- Strong negotiation skills to balance business and customer needs.
- Ability to influence individuals to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to review processes and find efficiencies and improvements.
