Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to provide personal care and assistance to our client, Matthew, who has cerebral palsy.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Matthew with daily living tasks, including showering, dressing, and feeding
  • Provide companionship and social support to Matthew
  • Accompany Matthew on weekend getaways and attend festivals and events
  • Cook meals for Matthew and ensure his dietary needs are met
  • Transport Matthew to various locations as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Intermediate cooking and food-handling skills
  • Ability to lift and assist Matthew with mobility
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of professionalism

Working Arrangements:

Average 8-10 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate Matthew's needs. This is a casual long-term position, requiring a minimum commitment of 12 months.
