Landholder Engagement Specialist
Overview
The role of the Landholder Engagement Specialist is to provide targeted engagement support to land access matters, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and landholders. This involves developing local awareness and knowledge on emerging landholder issues to inform business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining local awareness and knowledge on emerging landholder issues.
- Engaging with landholders to collect land related input for corridor planning, environmental and land related approvals, construction and maintenance processes.
- Contributing to and managing planning and scheduling activities for property access needs.
- Collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, Environmental Advisors, Cultural Heritage Officers, Communications Specialists and other industry professionals.
- Working in a construction team to deliver new infrastructure on privately owned land.
- Managing Powerlink's construction contractors to meet business and landholder commitments and expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications in environment, social science, communications, archaeology, surveying or similar would support success in the role. Experience in landholder engagement is beneficial, but best-practice engagement skillset is most important.
