Position Overview:

SA Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Administration Officer to join our team on a casual basis. This role is crucial in providing exceptional administrative support across various departments, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a confidential and customer-centric administrative service.
  • Manage front desk operations, including welcoming visitors, responding to inquiries, and handling phone calls.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to scheduling and maintaining records for theatre operations.
  • Facilitate patient admissions and discharges with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Generate and manage patient/client information reports as needed.
  • Perform data entry and word processing tasks with a keen eye for detail.
  • Support medical record administration, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Provide clerical assistance across various locations within SA Health.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in administration or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy standards in a healthcare context.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
