As a Field Service Engineer at our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance and repair of plant mechanical equipment.
- Prepare technical documentation to facilitate the Request for Quotation process and evaluate proposals from contractors.
- Provide mobilization and demobilization support, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Create and update site documentation such as lifting plans and installation instructions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop HSE & Quality plans and provide technical support to the site team.
- Participate in design review meetings to ensure field-related design considerations are addressed.
- Prepare and maintain subcontractor work packages to facilitate effective collaboration with external partners.
- Contribute to short- and medium-term work planning to optimize project timelines and resources.
- Review and support data quality in our construction management software, Insite LMS, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Identify, document, and report scope deviations, risks, and opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements:
- University diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to drive project success by focusing on HSE, quality, schedule, and resource optimization.
- Previous experience in supervising BoPm installation in large hydro power projects or similar industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment and systems.
- Proficient understanding of construction project management best practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proactive mindset to anticipate challenges and provide problem-solving solutions.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design tools, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD, or equivalent software.
