About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our manufacturing team in Sydney. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing effective support in maintenance and repair of production lines, ensuring factory production targets are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance on all mechanical machinery within the factory.
  • Ensuring all relevant procedures & safe work method statements are filled out before maintenance tasks commence.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and identify hazards and report incidents.
  • Ongoing travel to site may be required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker Trade Certificate or higher.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A hands-on attitude, problem-solving skills, with ability to work autonomously & as part of a supportive team.
