Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Correctional Centre Manager to oversee the daily activities of staff and inmates in a correctional centre. The successful candidate will maintain the safety and wellbeing of staff and inmates, provide security, and contribute to the overall operations of the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily activities of Correctional Officers within a designated area
  • Contribute to dynamic and static security in the containment and oversight of inmate/offender activities
  • Maintain confidentiality and represent the Department in an honest, ethical, and professional manner
  • Lead by example and demonstrate resilience, motivation, and a positive attitude
  • Undertake shift work on a rotating roster as required

Essential Requirements:

  • Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or equivalent experience
  • Ability to drive official vehicles and possess a valid Driver's License
  • Preparedness to undertake shift work on a rotating roster
