About the Speech Pathology Role

This graduate program is designed to support new speech pathology graduates in their transition to a multi-disciplinary setting. Onboarding, supervision, and a structured caseload will be provided to develop clinical skills and confidence.

Responsibilities of the Speech Pathologist
  • Supporting children to reach development milestones by enhancing communication and participation in everyday activities.
  • Educating and involving parents, carers, and others around the child to support language development.
  • Addressing clear and accurate pronunciation to ensure speech is easily understood.
  • Addressing stuttering and articulation to promote fluent and confident speech.
  • Collaborating with teachers and schools to address literacy, reading, and writing difficulties.
  • Teaching skills for safe management of food and drinks.
About You
  • A degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Eligibility for SPA registration upon graduating.
  • Graduation within the last 12 months or graduation in 2025.
  • A full valid driver's license with access to your own vehicle and third-party insurance.
  • A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • A clear current Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills and attention to detail.
