About the Role:

Webuild S.p.A. is seeking a highly skilled Material Quality Inspector to join our team on the Snowy 2.0 project. As a Material Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of permanent supplies and materials used on the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify the quality of permanent supplies and materials in accordance with relevant Employer's Requirements and FGJV plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely delivery and inspection of permanent supplies.
  • Draft and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conforming materials.
  • Assess quality records to ensure compliance and update records in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions proposed in non-conformances.
  • Communicate and resolve quality issues with procurement representatives and FGJV Material Managers.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Permanent Material Quality Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications or related discipline, such as a degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • White Card certification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in the construction industry in a similar role.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects or other suitable projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMDS.

  • Good knowledge of statistical techniques and quality tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong initiative and proactive nature.
  • Key collaborative skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels.

  • High attention to detail.
  • Exceptional knowledge and ability in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
