Head of Research and Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our research and analytics function, driving the development and delivery of industry-leading research, analytics, operational insights, and impact evaluation capabilities.
As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively with the CEO and other leaders to develop and deliver policy research and co-design projects that extend the existing evidence base in family and relationship services, domestic and family violence, and mental health.
You will leverage our integrated solutions, including automated client surveying capability and modern data platforms, to drive the team's implementation of self-service operational and outcomes data for business leaders, coupled with mixed methods analytical capability to support our understanding of what services work for whom and when.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of research and analytics projects that inform our practice and operational decisions
- Manage a high-performing team of researchers, evaluators, and data specialists to deliver influential applied research, a rigorous social impact framework, and robust data-driven decision-making
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including practice and operational leaders, to ensure our research and analytics capabilities meet their needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in research and analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our capabilities
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in social impact measurement, evaluation, business analytics, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience of leading impact strategies in a community services context
- Experience working with service users and an understanding of participatory and co-creation methods
- Demonstrated experience managing the full suite of a research and insights function with a strong commercial mindset
- Strong leadership, stakeholder, and influencing skills with proven ability to translate strategy into programs of work
