The role of Diagnostic Imaging Professional involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, clients and clinicians.
The professional will be responsible for actively participating in the multidisciplinary delivery of person-focused services.
This includes collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
The Diagnostic Imaging Professional will also be required to work effectively in a team environment, allocate workloads according to skills and competencies, and participate in the department roster including on-call as required.
They will need to interpret request information, select the optimal protocol and adapt the protocol to a range of clinical scenarios.
The Diagnostic Imaging Professional must have post-graduate qualifications in ultrasound with current Registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) as a Sonographer.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
Proficiency in providing a full range of general ultrasound exams, including experience in MSK, obstetrics and interventional imaging, is also required.
Australian Work Rights require applicants to be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents or be able to independently and legally live and work in Australia.
