Nurse Care Specialist

The Medical Imaging Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care encompassing a range of age groups and specialty areas, with varying levels of patient acuity (outpatient, inpatient, and critical care).
Nurses must undertake comprehensive assessment and care of patients before, during, and after diagnostic radiology examinations/procedures.
Medical Imaging Registered Nurses are supported to develop specialized skills including contrast administration, vascular access, and post-imaging care.
A key role of the Medical Imaging Registered Nurse is to collaborate with different multidisciplinary team members (radiographers, radiologists, medical teams, etc.), ensuring patients experience high-quality, safe care.
Nurses maintain a patient-centered approach, ensuring patients understand their examination/procedure and post-examination/procedure requirements.
Medical Imaging Registered Nurses are required to participate in a 7-day rotating roster.
