About the Role:
As a Community Support Specialist, you will be working within the community to provide support and care to our participants. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks;
- Supporting participants with their goals and aspirations;
- Assisting with meal preparation and domestic tasks;
- Transporting participants to appointments and activities;
- Providing social support and companionship.
You Will Be Successful If:
You have a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and a strong desire to make a positive difference in their lives. You are also comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or a related field;
- Authorised to work in Victoria;
- A valid Victorian Driver's License;
- An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and disability services sector;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a related field.
