Job Title: Lead Auditor
About the RoleThis role involves conducting business assurance assessments in accordance with current procedures. You will lead multi-disciplinary and/or international assessment teams effectively, ensuring that the visit is completed within the agreed timescales.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality assessment reports or other reports such as summary reports, reflecting business assurance principles, in compliance with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of management systems/scheme requirements and their application via a business assurance approach. They will also have experience in third-party auditing/assessment including system-level auditing and process-level auditing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct business assurance assessments in accordance with current procedures
- Lead multi-disciplinary and/or international assessment teams effectively
- Produce high-quality assessment reports or other reports
- Maintain professional competence by keeping abreast of technical and other developments in own area of expertise
- Supervise induction/coaching/knowledge transfer for assigned new Assessors
- Coach Auditors under training, recommending authorisation and further development activities as appropriate
- Thorough understanding of management systems/scheme requirements
- Experience in third-party auditing/assessment
- Understanding of relevant legal/regulatory framework
- Substantial experience in complex technical projects
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite
