About The Role

You'll lead our NSW responder network operations and readiness - a critical function ensuring our members receive timely, high-quality support when needed.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage compliance, training schedules, and accreditation records for operational readiness
  • Develop and monitor training programs to build and sustain responder capability and confidence
  • Monitor responder performance and ensure the team is prepared to deliver high-quality support
  • Create and maintain on-call rosters with sufficient coverage and clear communication across the network
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and assessment processes to grow and strengthen the responder team
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness and overall network performance
  • Motivate responders through strong leadership and influence, fostering engagement
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders and responders, adapting messaging
  • Evaluate incident management frameworks in daily operations and training, equipping responders for real-world scenarios
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience in emergency services, clinical leadership, military, security operations, or a similar field
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including team management, training, and operational processes
  • A track record in managing compliance, accreditation, and readiness programs
  • Clear and confident communication skills, presenting to frontline teams and senior stakeholders
  • The ability to lead without direct authority, building trust across a dispersed workforce
  • A solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Comfort navigating shifting priorities and making sound decisions under pressure
  • An understanding of incident management frameworks
