Job Overview

The Principal Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in developing, planning, and implementing stakeholder engagement initiatives that drive meaningful outcomes.

This involves creating and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.

The officer will provide strategic support to the PID Steering Committee, analysing issues facing stakeholders and working collaboratively to develop effective solutions.

They will also lead the engagement team in delivering key initiatives and programs across the PID Unit.

Key to success is a strong ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, negotiate at a senior level, and exercise sound judgment.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience leading high-performance teams, building learning cultures, and promoting shared purpose.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies that meet organisational goals
  • Provide secretariat and strategic support to the PID Steering Committee
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the engagement team to deliver key initiatives and programs
  • Analyse issues facing stakeholders and develop effective solutions
